What can cause puffiness around eyes?

Fluid, gravity: Skin around eyelids is very thin - in some places only 4 cell layers thick. Thus, even a small amount of swelling can look prominent. Any irritation may cause such swelling. Further, as we age, the collagen and elastic tissue which provide support also age and lose some of their ability to counter the effect of gravity. Some vitamin C topical products may help strengthen collagen in this area.

What is a good cosmetic procedure for wrinkles around the eyes?

Dr. Nelson Lee Novickanswered

Botox and Volumizers: Wrinkles around the eyes may be caused by slight overactivity of the muscles of facial expression, loss of collagen and elastic fibers from sunlight and age, and loss of volume (fat and bone) with time. Botox can diminish muscular overactivity and fillers and volumizers can restore lost volume to the under-eyes and brows leading to decreased crinkles and sagging and wider, more youthful eyes.

Maybe: When you refer to "oval shaped eyes" i make the assumption that you mean astigmatism. Yes, lasik can treat most but not all types of astigmatism.
