A 60-year-old female asked:
How often does a diabetic need eyes checkd and if there are vision problems before next appt time should let it go?

Depends: Diabetics with no history of eye problems should be checked once yearly. If there is a history of diabetes related eye disease, at least twice yearly. If you are having visual problems at any time you should see the eye doctor immediately, regardless of when the last visit was.
