No Home Treatment: A torus palatinus is a dense benign growth of bone, usually in the midline of the hard palate. The growith can appear in various shapes and sizes. They are indicated for removal in individuals who are going to have an upper partial or complete denture made where the bone may interfere with the appliance or in individuals where the bone may cause speech or hygiene problems.

No need to treat: A torus palatinus is not considered pathologic and typically does not require treatment. The only time it would need to be removed is if it interferes with the construction of a denture or if it is chronically irritated. It is not something you can treat yourself and you would need to see an oral surgeon.
