Could be a problem: Traumatic injury to the area could tear muscle fibers, cause nerve damage which can affect sphincter function. Can get evaluated with tests such as manometry (checks on muscle coordination), and nerve testing. May benefit from physical therapy, biofeedback; sometimes, needs surgical repair.

Kegel: Dr heller provided exceptionally good information. If you don't have injuries that require specific interventions than consider kegel sphincter exercises. You might want to give your rectum a little rest from so much anal sex as well.
