A member asked:

Can gallbladder disease cause lower stomach pain/gurgling? diagnosed with gb but have discomfort in lower area like upset stomach. not upper right.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not likely: The location & description of your pain does not sound like a gallbladder attack. These attacks typically occur in the right-upper or upper-midline after eating( esp fatty foods), last for an hour or more, are assc. W/nausea +/- vomiting, and may radiate into the back. What you are describing sounds more like indigestion or irritable bowel. I recommend that you see your doctor for formal evaluation.
