Not sure it helps...: The medical literature is quite mixed as to the potential value of milk thistle in treating the liver. Lots of things of course cause elevated liver enzymes, ; milk thistle certainly may be of little use for many liver diseases. Regarding your present symptoms, they may have little to do with recent use of milk thistle ; should be independently evaluated (esp. If underlying liver/biliary disease).

NO, however...: Milk thistle has been the subject of many research studies. While the results are mixed re: benefits, the studies have found it is quite safe. However, it can cause nausea, but this should stop as soon as you stop taking it.
