Depends: If you have evaluated and cleared by a physician yes, but start with low weight a higher reps. If not, then no, be evaluated first to make sure it is just a grade 1 w/o rotator cuff tears or cartilage tears.

No: Two weeks is not long enough. It sounds like you are young! see an orthopedic surgeon for opinion on weights & exercise. You need to start a very slow graduated program decided on by your orthopedist and make sure you follow his orders. Shoulder tendons and socket if damaged may not heal and will need surgery to fix if you are young. Do not risk a bad shoulder for life! I have seen many !
