Yes: Loosening & pain & palpation of small joint where collar bone (clavicle) & shoulder blade (scapula) connect at outermost & topmost shoulder.  complete or partial rupture of acromioclavicular ligaments (hold clavicle end to acromion of scapula) results from mechanical injury. Often small step-off greater on injured side.  partial tears often overlooked & undetected by x-ray.  common & often missed.

AC SEPARATION: Typically an AC JOINT separation can be treated conservatively when it is only a type 2 or 3. Treatment consists of therapy to regain motion after a short period in a sling. If pain persists or you have pain with activities then sometimes surgical intervention is warranted. Consult an Orthopaedic surgeon for a complete work up. Hope this information is helpful. AC injury: This is a very commonly injured part of the shoulder It is where your collar bone attached to the anterior portion of your shoulder blade. Most of the time the injury gets treated without surgery , but the progress should be moinitered by a shoulder specialist
