Plantar fasciitis: Plantar fasciitis can be a common cause for heel pain. Achilles tendonitis and bursitis can cause heel pain as well. If your shoes are in good shape and you do stretching exercises abd they persist, see a podiatrist.

Planta fassiitis: May be due to over use or plantar fasciitis which is a tendonitis of the tendon fibers that attach into the bottom of the heel, combined with the impact of the ground can cause pain in the heel, there may be other causes as well that should be checked out by your doctor in most cases your symptoms should be resolved in a conservative manner.
