I went to the doctor yesterday and found out i have a severe uti and kidnet infection. i am having sharp pains above my belly button. is this normal?

Not usual symptom: Kidney infection causes back pain, fever, frequent burning voids, but sharp umbilical pain is not expected. It may still be somehow related. But need to keep a level of suspicion that there may be something else requiring doctor's reevaluation.
