Yes: Yes. Vomiting and diarrhea and not eating can increase ketones in the urine. Not problem if you are otherwise healthy and this is an acute event. Be sure to stay hydrated. Most people are not that hungry with stomach viruses but do need to drink a lot of fluid.

Yes: When you don't eat (because of illness) the body starts to break down fat. The fat breakdown products include ketones which are spilled in the urine.
