A member asked:

How are abnormal cells removed from the cervix?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cone biopsy.: This is done after Acetic Acid is put on the cervix to show the affected area(s). It/they show up as white patch/patches which are then all removed with a biopsy, like a cone biopsy. This is then examined under a microscope to determine if it is malignant.
