Habit or problem: Some toddlers can become habit drinkers, carrying around a cup all day & consuming the sweet juices that mom offers.Over time the kidneys put out such dilute urine, they must drink to keep up.A hormonal or kidney defect could produce similar symptoms, so evaluation & some testing can help sort this out. If just drinking too often the kid can be slowly weaned. The other issues require rx.
