Is it possible for an adult to have remnants of umbilical cord? and if so, how can it be removed?

Urachal sinus: I do not know what you are actually seeing or feeling. Rarely a persistent connection can internally connect to the umbilicus. This can resukt in intermittent pain, redness, swelling & discharge from the umbilicus. See a doctor for an exam.
