I've been taking cabergoline off and on since 2003. my prolactin level has only dropped from the upper 90's to the mid 40's. when will it be normal?

Dose change: It should be normal with cabergoline. I assume you and your doctor already know the cause of the high prolactin? You might need to increase the dose of the Cabergoline and take it continuously rather than on and off. See a specialist if necessary to get to the bottom of this. More info is needed for a complete answer.
