Complex issue: Leukemia is a cancer of the blood cells that can cause damage to different regions of the body. If there is damage to the nerves of the face, then facial paralysis can occur. This may be caused by leukemia in the base of the brain or central nervous system (cns). This is a severe and dangerous form. Chemotherapy and/or radiation can also damage the facial nerve. Recovery may occur over time.

Tough question: Facial paralysis is not likely due to leukemia, but more likely due to the chemotherapy, or possibly radiation if that was used. You should see an ENT doctor to help figure this out and help with treatment of the face.
