Sadly: They are all more "marketing" in nature than actual whitening. Professional bleaching is the most predictable and reliable method of teeth whitening. Some otc kits also work according to patients. Best to consult with your dentist.

None.: You whiten teeth best with a cleaning at the dentist's office followed by a professional tooth whitening system used in a custom-made set of trays which you get from the dentist as well.

All are Marginal!: Your best option to whiten healthy teeth is to see your dentist for professional bleaching. Custom fitted trays used with prescription strength bleaching gel will give you the maximum results. If you have front teeth fillings, bleach first befor you replace them, as they will not bleach and straight teeth always look whiter than mal-aligned teeth. Diseased or heavily restored teeth need full tx!

Several: There are several ways to whiten your teeth, but i would not consider the toothpastes that claim "whitening" or the otc methods. The best way to get a predictable tooth whitening is by a dentist. There are several sophisticated procedures with special lights and special lightening solutions (that are a lot stronger than can be bought otc.) bleaching trays are often made for home bleaching.
