Over hyped: Vision therapy is a system which tries to correct disorders of eye motion and visual learning by the application of a variety of exercises. It has never been subjected to actual clinical trials. Improvement is noted when test scores improve but this is largely a practice effect and there are no proven long term benefits to this type of activity.
