Yes: Forgetting normal stuff, as you say, can be a sign of depression and or anxiety. Seeing a psychologist would be a good step toward sifting through emotional issues that manifest as forgetting.If the cause of the forgetting on the other hand, is organic, get a referral to see a neuropsychologist. Neuropsychologists do testing to figure out which areas of the brain might be affected.
