I took a ovulation test yesterday at 3:00pm and it was positive i took another one today at 9:00am and 12pm and it was negative what's going on?

Ovulation today: Hi nessa, that is how the test works. The ovulation test detects the natural lh surge which from start to end only lasts about 24 hours. That is why once it's postive, you do not need to re check again. Good luck!
