Dry eyes: Could be allergy, but more common is dry eyes from being on the computer, reading, forgetting to blink. The tears are needed to bring nutrition to the cornea (clear window) and take away waste products and debris from the world. When they can't or don't, the conjunctiva tries to do that work by making the blood vessels larger. Blink, use artificial tears, but most of all do not rub!
