A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dry eyes: It sounds funny that when eyes seem wet that this is most common symptoms of dry eye.We have two types of tears. Normal basal tears that wet the eye everytime we blink. We need these tears for the eye to be comfortable, and for normal funtionimg of the cornea. When the cornea dries out we get reflex tearng. These tears are usually saltier and thicker than normal basal tears.
