MD/Dentist: If the abscess is recurring and is located other than in your mouth you need to have an md/pcp do a work up and get a diagnosis. If this is a dental issue then it is from an infected tooth that may or may not have a root canal. The best thing to do in this instance is to see a dentist and get the offending tooth treated.
