Depends: If they are glass bottles and cleaned thoroughly between uses, they can be used forever. Plastic bottles may break down and release plastic into the water especially if they are left in the sun.

Permanent Bottle: Good day; If u must use bottle wash after each use with soap and hot water or better yet, buy a dish washer- safe permanent bottle.
