Yes: Would make sure he has been burped well and hold him upright for 30 minutes after his feed. Follow his voiding and stooling closely. If he is not peeing and pooing then you should have him checked at the doctor. If it is projectile(across the room) or pine green i would have him evaluated immediately.

Maybe, maybe not.: Most newborns have returned to the birthweight by at least 2 weeks of age. If your baby is older than 2 weeks, and still below birthweight, this warrants another visit with your pediatrician. Is you baby jaundiced? Are you breastfeeding? This would be necessary to know in order to answer your concerns more accurately. See your pediatrician this week.
