No: According to the cdc, no association between MMR and autism. There was a theory that the thymersol preservative was contributing to autism, but the autism rates rose even after the thymersol was removed. It is a major mistake to not have one's kids fully vaccinated.

However, the small study that created this controversy was funded by anti vaccine lobbyists, which Wakefield never disclosed when he published it with The Lancet. This fraud caused many deaths of babies and children around the world, especially in California (pertussis) and England ( measles )
