A member asked:

What to do if i didn't want my kid to get autism, so i refused the mmr for him?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sad for your kid: You took a myth created as fraudulent research by dr wakefield (who lost his license because of the fraud) and now leave your child susceptible to an illness that can kill him.We are now finding genetic errors in kids with autism that are present at conception. There is no link to the mmr, although their are many that continue to push the idea. It is sad that parents are caught up in this battle.
