Possibly: There are different types of abnormal pap smears. Some abnormala like lgsil or hgsil are associated with the hpv or the human papilloma virus. Others paps smears are ascus ( atypical ) and may or may not have hpv present. A very recent miscarriage with bleeding or inflammation present may result in an atypical pap at times. If no hpv is present the pap can be repeated.

No: Abnormal pap tests are caused by HPV infection (human papilloma virus). A miscarriage will not affect your pap test.
