Should a patient with non-functioning kidneys take baclofen?

Dr. Ziad Akl answered

Caution: According to the package insert, Baclofen is primarily excreted unchanged through the kidneys, it should be given with caution, and it may be necessary to reduce the dosage. I would not use it without talking to the nephrologist first.
