A member asked:

Is gatorade safe to drink to lessen the effects of dry mouth?

No: Gatorade is okay in moderation, but not intended to treat dry mouth (xerostomia). Gatorade contains sugars which will cause additional problems if consumed excessively. Try to find out the cause of the dry mouth (medications, ... Etc) you can use otc products like biotene or get gc dry mouth gel from your dentist -- much better options than gatorade etc.
