Find the cause: There are some over the counter saliva substitutes, but they really aren't that good and offer only short term relief. You can keep water with you and rinse and spit it out. Also sugar free gum often helps promote saliva production. You should consult with your dentist and medical doctor to determine the source of your dry mouth. This could be a medical problem or side effect of some medications.
