Gas: Lots of things can cause pain in the abdomen, but if it comes and goes it may just be gas. It is worth it to see a gastroenterologist and have a work up to check.

Many reasons: The pain in lower abdomen which comes ang goes need to be evaluated by your doctor.There can be gas, constipation, kidney stones, etc. You should get evaluated and may need a consult with a gastroenterologist.
