Ulnar nerve: Ulnar nerve supplies these 2 fingers. It is most often affected actually at the elbow. Rarely the nerve can be compressed at the wrist. Even more rarely, a thoracic outlet problem may cause these symptoms. Try not leaning on your elbow & avoid flexing your elbow at acute angles or for prolonged periods. If this works, the problem likely resides at elbow, common & benign.

Could be from wrist: The ulnar nerve can also be compressed or "pinched" at the wrist. This is not as common as the elbow, but does occur.
