A member asked:

How much would an ingrown toenail procedure cost? with and without insurance?

Depends: Usually have to numb area and remove excess tissue and ingrown nail. Not entire nail, which would be more expensive. Would guess 200-500 dollars as the range, and with insurance coverage, cost determined by deductible and co payment.

All insurances: Are different. If paying cash expect minimum 125 to about 300 for partial nail removal non- permenant, depending on where you live.

Cost will vary: Depending on the doctor, the cost will vary. In my houston office, we charge a cash price of $250 which includes the initial visit, the procedure, and the follow up visit. You should search on the internet for podiatrists in your area and call for an all-inclusive cost.
