Scalp Dermatitis?: Scalp dermatits can present only as dry/itchy scalp in the teen years. Seborrheic dermatitis may or may not be accompanied by tender, itchy pimples on the scalp, around the hair line, neck, chest and upper back. Some medicated shampoos can be harsh to actual hair shafts. If fine/fragile hair, only apply the shampoo to scalp skin.Condier rx Ketoconazole 2% shampoo, alternate with otc antidandruff.
