?sleep apnea: Perhaps your sleep is interrupted by periodic cessation of breathing, which disturbs the sleep cycle, but doesn't fully awaken you. Do you have a new medication, or do you consume more alcohol in the evening? Might consider anemia, thyroid problems. Also, consider your current emotional state (?Depression) your doctor can likely clarify all of this readily.
