Mucocele of lips ?: Constant biting of lips can lead to damage to the lining mucosal lining of the lips- the outer shiny lining covering, the deeper struc. Of lips-both upper and lower and can lead to bumps like these called mucocele. These are pinkish to bluish bumps, containing gelatinous liquidcan rupture spontaneously. If symptomatic, excison of them with cryo/laser trts.Are helpful.Prevention: avoiding biting.
