Xray: A history, physical exam, and xray could help determine if you have a broken hand. Typically after an injury you may experience significant pain to the broken region, swelling, and inability to move that part of the body. Xray's have been the best diagnostic tool to confirm a fracture (usually 2-3 views), however there are other modalities.
