Yes and not unusual: Its not unusual with a 5th metacarpal fracture to have it heal with the knuckle slightly lower at that spot however, once it is healed which typically takes 4-6 weeks you should be able to do anything you want.

PUNCH CORRECTLY: I'm not sure what is meant by "my knuckle is missing" and "it's not quite straight." it sounds like an orthopedic consult is necessary. This is commonly known as a "boxer's fracture." many times, in boxers or martial artists, it is the result of punching wrong and making contact with the 5th knuckle instead of the 2nd knuckle. Proper punching technique can prevent future breaks. See your dr.
