See your doctor: Difficulty breathing at night might be a lung problem, like asthma, or a cardiac problem. In either case, you need medical attention for the problem to be properly diagnosed and treated, as in either case the condition could be life threatening. If, after you have been assessed by a doctor, no physical cause is found, then look into anxiety as a possible cause as well. Good luck.
