Not sure.: Not sure what you mean by hypothyroid symptoms. There may be some overlap in symptoms with perimenopause and hypothyroid, but not a lot. Ortho tri cyclen (ethinyl estradiol and norgestimate) may alleviate your perimenopausal symptoms but will have absolutely no effect on any symptoms produced by lack of thyroid hormone.
