My grandmother had got a few shots done on her chest to make a scar smaller, but after she got the shots she woke up and her left leg was completely numb. she said it has no pain, but she can not lift or move her leg at all. why is this?

Steroids for scars: While i cannot be sure what was injected into your grandmother's scar, it may have been a steroid (kenalog). Steroids help soften and flatten scars, and may make them less itchy. The shot should have nothing to do with her leg issue.
