Not always: You need to call the ophthalmologist who did the yag laser and tell them how you are feeling and any other symptoms you may be having and anhy eye drops you are using.

Laser- induced infla: Yag capsulotomy is common procedure after cataract surgery to help clear up vision. Although low risk , some patients experience eye pressure elevation, eye inflammation, or even increases in floaters. If a contact lens was applied during treatmen, surface irritation may be occuring. Either way, you should have your eyes re examined to rule out anything serious requiring treatment.
