Needs medical home: Start with a good primary doctor who can check him out thoroughly concerning his blood pressure, cholesterol, heart and kidney function, weight and eating habits, etc. He may need careful adjustment of his medications and his health habits. This alone may improve his seizure control. The pcp can then decide whether a specialist would be necessary.
