My father is a cancer patient. he is doing chemo. his doctor recommended prostat for gaining weight, but i was wondering if he could use gnc 1340?

Possibly, but ask: Prostat is a liquid protein supplement that comes in different forms. One form is made to protect the kidneys. If your father's doctor is concerned about his kidney function, the GNC 1340 would not be a safe product for him. It would help if you could send the ingredient list for the GNC 1340 to your father's doctor and ask him if it would be an OK substitute.
