It could be: Particularly if you have a pronated or foot that flattens while you stand. Oftentimes, these foot types might also have "pinched callouses" on the side of the big toes. Helpful treatments may include an orthotic. You have to make sure the etiology is not more proximal say at the tarsal tunnel or lower back.
