Possibly: Not for certain, although that's one very good possibility. You describe 2 out of 3 possible criteria needed for diagnosis of pcos, the third one is ultrasound appearance. I suggest you not trust anyone's internet diagnosis, but a good provider can help you sort this out in office.

PCOS: Current criteria for diagnosing PCOS include all of the following: 1) excess hair (hirsuitism) or increased androgens in the blood, 2) ovarian dysfunction or multiple ovarian cysts, and 3) exclusion of other disorders. You may have PCOS, but only your provider can determine accurately if that is the case. Unfortunately there is not one test or study for diagnosing PCOS.
