May be carpal tunnel: Syndrome so try wearing wrist splints at night that you can buy over the counter at large box pharmacies. These keep you from letting your wrists and hands bend over compressing the carpal region or wrist region where the median nerve is found which is what happens in carpal tunnel syndrome. If it does not help, see your doctor.

Yes: It sounds like you may be developing carpal tunnel syndrome. You may try buying braces that will keep your wrist in the neutral position & sleeping on them. Additionally try taking an otc nsaid. Modifying your work activities decreasing repetitive wrist: hand motion may help. If pain persist then by all means see your pcp.
