Check for fibroids: You might have fibroids that can cause abnormal bleeding. An ultrasound can confirm whether this might be a problem. If your doctor can see that your uterus is enlarged that would suggest a fibroid. You could also have polyps in your endometrial cavity that might cause bleeding. Make an appointment to see your doctor.
