See below: Various causes of chronic pelvic pain with IC (aka chronic painful bladder syndrome) being one of them. Bladder/pelvic discomfort associated with urinary frequency/urgency usual symptoms. Often aggravated by stress and acid diet. U/A and culture usually normal. Variety of available treatment options. ICA website (www.ichelp.org) very helpful. Recommend seeing a urologist competent in managing IC.
